1980
The Palatiana brothers – Antonis, Konstantinos and Paraskevas – establish a machine shop, manufacturing molds for plastic fittings with the company name “Palatiana Brothers Co” in Evosmo, Thessaloniki.
1985
Transfer to privately owned premises of 1300m2Â in the Industrial Area of Sindos, Thessaloniki commencing the production of plastic fittings for drip irrigation systems.
1990
Evolvement and conversion to a Limited Liability company “Palaplast S.A. – Plastic Pipes and Fittings Industry”. Allocation of the appropriate management positions of the three brothers as follow:
- Konstantinos Palatianas – CEO and Commercial Director
- Anthonis Palatianas – Production Manager
- Paraskevas Palatianas – CFO
At the same time launches its export activities with Italy being the first country of export.
1995
The Company is awarded with the Quality Assurance System according to International Standards ISO 9001.Integration of the company ``Paladrip S.A. - Plastic pipe industry for drip irrigation``, from Palaplast S.A.
2000
Establishment of the subsidiary joint venture company in Izmir, Turkey “Palaplast Izmir”. Integration of the company “PAL-VEP S.A.”, which produced uPVC pressure fittings, by “Palaplast S.A.”.
2003
Relocation to new premises in the Industrial Area of Sindos Thessaloniki, occupying an area of 100,000m² with 25.000m² of total area covered.
2005
Establishment of the commercial company in Bucharest, Romania “Palaplast Expert”. Palaplast decides to further expand and enter the sectors of Water Treatment and Heating.
2008
Palatiana brothers are awarded ``Entrepreneurs of the Year 2008`` by Ernst & Young. The same year also receives the ``National Recognition for Business Excellence`` by the Ministry of Development.
2009
Establishment of the company “Palaplast Syria” in Hama – Mahardeh, Syria.
2014
Establishment of a branch office – warehouse in Athens to better serve customers in the Attica area.
2019
Relocation of Palaplast Izmir to privately owned facilities of 7,000m2Â in the Industrial Area of Menemen Izmir.
2021
Palaplast invests in a New Production Plant in Thebes. With the second production unit in Greece, Palaplast enters dynamically into the sector of building drainage, sewerage, pressure and into the production of PVC pipes.
2025
Celebration of Palaplast’s 45th Anniversary
